Of course its all acid free and archival so its perfect for any use. As with all our products, the leather is richly and deliciously distressed with browns and Sienna reds infused in the coloring of each book. Each book is made piece by piece by hand so the color of each piece will vary from a glossy dark brown to a rich light brown. Please do not expect an exact replica of the photograph you see above. The binding is hand pressed, the leather hand colored, and the fleur de lys (lily on the cover) is hand embossed.
